DescriptionAccording to the National Heart, Lung and Blood Institutes, Catheter ablation is a medical procedure used to treat some arrhythmias. An arrhythmia is a problem with the speed or rhythm of the heartbeat. This activity is supported in part by educational grants from Merck and Astellas.
