DescriptionRecent advances in cardiac imaging modalities include: magnetic resonance imaging, multidetector computed tomography and hybrid modalities such as positron emission tomography. Cardiologists rely extensively on imaging techniques for decision support and for patient management. This activity is supported in part by educational grants from Merck and Astellas.
