Translating research to improve cardiac and vascular care and understanding the priorities of cardiovascular research funding as they align with onging and future investigative efforts are recognized practice and educational gaps. National thought leader, Michael Lauer, MD, Director of the Cardiovascular Branch of the National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute, National Institutes of Health will lead a round table discussion on informed design and implementation of clinical and translational research to improve cardiac and vascular care.
