Objectives
- Identify the importance of patient education in multiple sclerosis care
- Identity the relevance of personalized and comprehensive care in multiple sclerosis as a central tenant in modern MS care
- Identify the red flags of treatment failure and propose a rational approach to patients and families about changing medications to avoid disease progression
- Be familiar with the concept of No Evidence of Disease Activity (NEDA) and therapeutic inertia in MS
- Be familiar with novel concepts of rehabilitation targeting cognition and emotional life
- Be familiar with strategies to tackle issues of bladder and bowel control
- Be familiar with an atmosphere of inclusion as a member of the MS community and their role of agents of changes and advocacy for patients and families
