Description
The 2017 OSOTC Professional Transplant Symposium is a unique teaching symposium for all transplant professionals who care for patients with end organ diseases. This is a unique opportunity for the transplant center professionals in the state and region to participate in a one day educational conference designed to address many challenging aspects of organ
transplantation.
Presentation from invited faculty from the six solid organ transplant centers in Ohio will provide a comprehensive learning experience. The format of the presentations will include didactic lectures, panel presentations and interactive question-and-answer sessions. All of these are designed to encourage discussion and audience participation.

Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:
1. Provide a statewide forum for exchange of new scientific and clinical information relevant to solid organ transplantation
2. Create an interactive environment for the interchange of ideas regarding care and management of organ recipients
3. Facilitate discussions of psycho-social, ethical and regulatory issues related to solid organ transplantation
4. Evaluate the successful and unsuccessful practices which drive outcomes
