Description
Heart Summit 2017 will address new medication and technology being utilized in electrophysiology, heart failure, and structural heart disease. Issues to be discussed include anticoagulation strategies for atrial fibrillation; quality of life after TAVR; and guidelines for the diagnosis and management of heart failure.

Objectives
At the conclusion of this continuing medical education activity participants will be able to:
1. Describe the indications and risks of atrial fibrillation ablation;
2. Discuss anti-coagulation strategies for atrial fibrillation;
3. Identify pre-operation testing and registry requirements prior to TAVR implantation;
4. Review pre-, intra-, and post-operation care of TAVR patients;
5. Identify approaches to facilitate early recognition and optimization of heart failure management;
6. Recognize factors that help identify high risk heart failure patients.
