Description

Given the aging population, there physicians may be unaware of techniques to manage age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and other retinal diseases. The Havener Eye Institute Retina Case Conference 2018 will focus on preferred practice patterns as endorsed by the American Academy of Ophthalmology.  There will also be an opportunity to discuss unique cases in a forum of clinicians in order to advance the medical knowledge of the group as a whole.  A variety of experience will be present from resident to attending physicians.  The goal is to leverage the knowledge and experience of various experts with the variety of experiences from the group of physicians present.  This will allow those in attendance to further their knowledge to best serve their own patients.

Recognize various vitreoretinal disorders

Evaluate and identify patients needs relative to their disease presentation
