Description
This continuing medical education activity has been designed to provide participants with treatment options for patients with carotid artery disease and new treatment algorithms for patients with nonanuerysmal aortic pathologies. Faculty for this activity will describe the latest synthesis of treatment of deep vein thrombosis; and practical directions will be offered on ultrasound guided access, renovascular hypertension and vascular rehabilitation.
This program meets the criteria for SVU-CMEs (10.75) which are accepted by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers® (ARDMS®), the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) for Category A credit, Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) and the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) for laboratory accreditation.

Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, participants will be able to:1. Describe the evaluation of hemodialysis access with multiple modalities;
2. Describe how management of lower extremity venous disease is changing;
3. Determine perfusion assessment of various arterial beds beyond standard testing;
4. Discuss the management of a variety of aortic pathologies.
