Description
1. Updates on who and when to institute preventative treatment for chronic HBV.
2. Educate on advanced strategies for managing complications of portal hypertension3. Discuss strategies for better outpatient care of cirrhotic and patients and preventing re admission to hospital (gap in competence)
4. Discuss emerging therapies for patients with NASH .
5. Educate on resection versus transplant for cholangiocarcinoma
The educational design of the conference will include live presentations, patient case studies and round table discussion of presented material. This format is benefitial because the learners are able to receive immediate feedback to their questions and further discussion for patient treatment is stimulated through physician interactions. A post event evaluation will be administered to gauge participants knowledge pertaining to areas of study outlined in the conferences learning objectives

Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:
1. Identify which patients need prophylaxis for Hepatitis B
2. Evaluate advanced or second line treatment options for managing complication of portal hypertension
3. Recognize the optimal approach to managing a patient with cirrhosis
4. Contrast new and future treatment options for patients with NASH
5. Employ different treatment options for both hepatocellular carcinoma and cholangiocarcinoma
