data presented and therefore is unable to incorporate new discoveries and recent changes in treatments presented during the national ASH meeting to their clinical practice. Due to these issues,
the target audience is not able to stay up to date.

~ Identify the latest developments in the field of chronic lymphocytic leukemia.
~ Describe the current updates in the management of lymphoma.
~ Employ and translate the latest scientific studies in multiple myeloma.
~ Restate the results and clinical relevance of studies pertaining to stem cell transplantation
for hematological malignancies.
~ Interpret the current evidence behind the management of myelodysplastic syndromes and myeloproliferative neoplasms.
~ Assess and interpret the recent developments in benign hematology.
~ Prepare strategies for the learners to incorporate fitness assessment, toxicity management and discussion of treatment options into the management of patients with acute leukemia.
~ Evaluate the poor outcomes of young African American adult patients with acute
myeloid leukemia.
