ONLINE REGISTRATION FOR THIS CONTINUING MEDICAL EDUCATION ACTIVITY IS NOW CLOSED. QUESTIONS CONCERNING REGISTRATION SHOULD BE REFERRED TO THE CONTACT PERSON LISTED BELOW.
The continuing medical education activity will be a hybrid offering - both in-person and live-streamed. All sessions of the Electrophysiology: Review and What’s New conference on October 29 will be available for in-person participation and live-streamed online. The October 30 sessions will be only available online. Registrants who wish to attend the in-person may select the In-Person Extra option when registering.

Throughout this pandemic, the safety of our community is always our top priority. In accordance with University protocols, all participants of an in-person CME activity shall observe the following face mask requirements and exceptions:
* Indoor masking: students, faculty, staff and visitors to all Ohio State campuses and medical facilities are required to wear masks indoors, regardless of their vaccination status.
*Outdoor masking: Masks continue to be required outdoors for unvaccinated individuals when they cannot maintain physical distancing. Vaccinated people are not required to mask outdoors.

At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be able to:
1. Discuss the structure of the cardiac conduction system and mechanisms of arrhythmias.
2. Identify clinical history and findings indicative of cardiac syncope.
3. Compare and contrast different types of permanent pacing.
4. Recognize the criteria diagnostic of inherited arrhythmias syndromes.
5. Recognize and apply appropriate intervention for common problems with CIEDs.
6. Understand antiarrhythmic drug selection in the management of atrial fibrillation.
7. Identify complications following catheter ablation for atrial fibrillation.
8. Understand indications for anticoagulation and options available.
9. List the indications for left atrial appendage closure.
