1 Day Conference August 12th, 2016
6.00 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit Hours

Description

The planning committee found sizeable evidence to support a patient care gap where providers of several disciplines may not have, or feel they have, adequate clinical training in eating disorders, which can lead to sub-standard patient care.  Collaboration: A Multi-Disciplinary Eating Disorder Treatment Day will speak to gap areas of assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and collaboration in the treatment of eating disorders- providing lectures to increase knowledge base and improve interdisciplinary collaboration. This training will also  allow for questions around controversial topics in eating disorder assessment and treatment and a discussion with expert professionals.
