Description
This international meeting (usually held in Amiens France) is coming to the United States for the first time! It attracts 150 attendees from 30 countries, top-class faculty from Europe, South Korea, Japan, United Kingdom and India.
Two days of ‘B2C -Breakfast-to-Cocktail’ sessions encompass all the cutting edge aspects of technology-rich perforator surgery including functional reconstruction, lymphedema, targeted muscle re-innervation (TMR), biologic, imaging, flap monitoring and emerging technology. It represents a unique opportunity for busy clinicians to meet vendors of new products, scientific innovators to meet business leaders and to exchange educational pearls and pitfalls.
The keynote speaker is Dr. J.P. (Joon Pio) Hong from South Korea.

Objectives
- Apply and select the most suitable clinical indications to treat with a propeller perforator flap
- Evaluate the patient using imaging techniques including Doppler exam to identify perforating vessels that supply the flap
- Perform the preoperative workup for perforator flaps
- Perform perforator flaps effectively for a wide variety of surgical problems
- Incorporate perforator flap techniques in reconstruction of patients with limb salvage
- Incorporate successfully postoperative imaging techniques to monitor flap viability
- Understand salvage techniques for failed flaps and be able to use alternative solutions
- Accurately understand the cost-effectiveness of perforator
- Use electronic methods for recording flap surgery
- Accurately assess and mitigate challenging clinical problems in patients with cancer, previous radiation damage, and vascular insufficiency
