Objectives
At the conclusion of this continuing medical education activity participants should be able to:
1. Differentiate the clinical relevance of aneurysms affecting the celiac, splenic, hepatic, superior mesenteric, and gastroduodenal-pancreaticoduodenal arteries;
2. Recognize the appropriate use of catheter-based embolization in treating splenic artery aneurysms;
3. Discuss the benefits and risks attending endovascular versus open surgical treatment of peripancreatic arterial aneurysms.
