2 Day Conference January 10th - 11th, 2019
13.00 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit Hours

Description

With continued prevalence of obesity in our society, there is an ongoing need for surgical, and in some cases non-surgical, approaches to help with weight loss resolutions. Physicians, nurses, dietitians, allied health professionals all provide the patient with high quality care, and to continue doing so, they must have the most current medical innovations and/or changes for pre- and post-surgery care. This course will educate learners on reducing bias, recidivism, outcomes, weight stigma, and new and upcoming procedures through patient panels, didactic and breakout sessions.
