Today on MedNet21, we're going to discuss Treatment of Opioid Dependency.

By the end of the presentation, the audience should have a better understanding of the historical and current medical context of the opioid epidemic, have a good understanding of the criteria for opioid use disorder as well as opioid intoxication and opioid withdrawal, be familiar with the elements of the assessment of opioid use disorder, and be aware of the treatment settings as well as the available pharmacologic and psychosocial treatments of opioid use disorder.
