As a result of this educational activity, webcast participants will be able to: describe the high level strategy for the administration process of the COVID-19 vaccine; list the operational tactics for the administration of the COVID-19 vaccine; understand the mechanism of action of mRNA vaccines; review the data from Phase 3 clinical trials of the 2 currently available mRNA vaccines; understand the overall safety profile of the current COVID vaccine, the most common side effects; describe the precautions that should be taken to maintain patient safety during vaccination.
Today on MedNet21, we're going to discuss COVID-19 Vaccine Update. Viewers will learn basic information about the administration and logistics of administering the COVID-19 Vaccine. This presentation will review the history of mRNA vaccine over the last 30 years and recent advancements that have enabled the vaccine to be used in humans. Will also review the data from Phase 3 clinical trials of the two vaccines that have been issues Emergency Use Authorization
