To gain understanding of the history of mesh implants in urogynecologic surgery and to learn about the physical properties of mesh that were not previously understood.

To ascertain the current state of literature supporting the continued use of mesh for management of prolapse and stress incontinence.

To learn about possible complications from mesh-based procedures and their management strategies.
