Description
Please join neurovascular and neurocritical care subspecialists from The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center and Mount Carmel to learn the latest regarding diagnosis and treatment in comprehensive stroke and neurocritical care.
On Day 1 of the course (Thursday, October 16), learners will be given the opportunity to become certified in either Emergency Neurologic Life Support (ENLS) OR Advanced Stoke Life Support (ASLS).
*There is a price difference between these two certification so please make sure to select the registration fee that corresponds with your preferred certification.
*The ENLS Course is certified as an enduring material. CME credits for the ENLS Course will be awarded upon successful completion of online modules and several subsequent exams. The live instruction portion of the course is not certified for CME credit.
Day 2 of the course (Friday, October 17) offers concurrent sessions available for:
* Physicians
* Advanced Practice Nurses
* Paramedics
* Pharmacists
* Physiatrists
* Physicians Therapists
On both days of the course, learners will be given the opportunity to participate in an EMS Simulation Lab. BRAIN CODE simulation will be offered in the AM sessions (8am to 11:30) and STROKE CODE simulation will be offered in the PM sessions (1pm to 4:30pm). If you are interested in attending a simulation session, make sure to sign up for a time when completing your registration for the conference. Each session is limited to 5 people.
This activity has been approved for AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™. Below are the Accreditation Statement and AMA Credit Designation Statement for Thursday's ENLS course.
Accreditation Statement
This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of the University of California, San Francisco School of Medicine (UCSF) and the Neurocritical Care Society. UCSF is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
