Cardiovascular Emergencies

November 13th, 2026

Conference starts in:

Scotts Miracle-Gro Field - Columbus, OH
1 Day Conference November 13th, 2026
4.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit Hours

Description

This continuing medical education activity brings together a multidisciplinary group of experts to explore the breadth of options for cardiovascular emergencies. This conference will provide physicians, advanced practice providers, trainees-in-medicine, nurses, allied healthcare providers, and emergency medical personnel with information regarding the most current evidence-based practices and treatment modalities.  This immersive, case‑based learning experience guides participants through the contemporary management of coronary artery disease, cardiogenic shock, valvular heart disease, and peripheral vascular disease as encountered in advanced cardiovascular practice.

Practitioners are less confident in managing cardiovascular emergencies when co-morbidities exist. The chain of events favoring good functional outcomes from cardiovascular emergencies begins with diagnosis. These conditions range from coronary artery disease, cardiogenic shock, structural heart disease, vascular disease, pulmonary and STEMI. Data shows that the public’s knowledge of these conditions warning signs remain poor. Education will improve patient outcomes. These conditions require quick assessment, diagnosis and treatment by a facility that can provide timely definitive care to minimize risk for preventable complications and death. Pre-hospital and inter-hospital triage, transport and treatment are critical to determine outcomes for these patients.
