Description
Physicians and health care providers within OSU and the community find it difficult to keep abreast of all the latest developments in the field of hematology. This lack of knowledge could lead to omission of the most recent treatments and practice guidelines from their patient care. Treatment guidelines are periodically modified and updated year-round based on research developments, making it difficult for physicians and other oncology providers to provide optimal care without intervention such as our ASH Review conference.

Objectives
1. Choose treatments for the most common benign and malignant blood diseases that are supported by the latest research developments presented at the ASH Annual Scientific Meeting.
2. Analyze the evidence for approved therapies for hematological diseases supported by clinical trials.
3. Apply the recent advances in hematology in the clinical care of their patients.
4. Assimilate the role of immunotherapy in the changing treatment paradigm of various blood diseases.
5. Appreciate various strategies to mitigate toxicities of cellular therapies and antibodies.
