Description
One tool in the treatment of obesity is the use of medications. Medications do not work on their own; they must be part of a comprehensive approach to treating obesity. The most commonly prescribed medicines work by either blocking how fat is absorbed or by creating a feeling of fullness. This OSUMC East Hospital Grand Rounds will address the Medical Therapy for Obesity. Benjamin O’Donnell, MD, Associate Professor of Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism is the expert panelist in this MedNet 21 webcast moderated by Shengyi Mao, MD, Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine, and Medical Editor of MedNet 21. This presentation will be available in Wallace Auditorium beginning at 12:00 noon, December 2. Box lunches or lunch vouchers will be available to participants on a first-come basis.
