Objectives

-Define the gender gap and understand how it has historically played a role in the physician workforce

-Discuss sex-specific reimbursement and its implications for gynecologic surgeons and patients

-Review the history of gynecologic surgery training and analyze barriers that lead to the concern for
a "quality gap," while considering future directions for the Ob/Gyn specialty
