Objectives
As a result of this educational activity, webcast participants will be able to: IDENTIFY and address safety issues relevant to the patient with dementia, such as personal and home safety, driving, motor disturbance, wandering, and medication administration; DESCRIBE the clinical indications, goals of therapy, and side effects of the current FDA approved medications for treatment of dementia; UNDERSTAND that Dementia is not part of normal aging; and RECOGNIZE that Alzheimer’s disease, while a common cause for dementia, is not the only cause of dementia.Webcasts Files
