Description
Today on MedNet21, we're going to discuss Kidney Stones. This presentation will review the prevalence and cost of kidney stones in the United States. An overview of the imaging strategies for stone disease will be discussed including their sensitivities and specificities. Strategies to reduce radiation exposure in stone patients will also be addressed. An overview of the surgical options for stones based on the recently updated AUA Surgical Guidelines will be provided. This webcast will also discuss the medical management for prevention of kidney stones.
