Description

Today on MedNet21, we're going to discuss Telemedicine.

In this Webcast, participants will learn about two modalities of telemedicine, the live-interactive and store-and-forward modalities. Telepsychiatry, the application of telemedicine in mental health treatment, will be discussed as an example of the live-interactive modality. Teledermatology, the application of telemedicine in dermatologic care, will be discussed as an example of store-and-forward technology. Real world examples of telepsychiatry and teledermatology and their use at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center will be described.
