As a result of this educational activity, webcast participants will be able to: APPROPRIATELY screen patients in a primary care setting; DIAGNOSE sleep apnea with appropriate testing; UNDERSTAND the important factors that should be addressed at each obstructive sleep apnea follow up visit; and RECOGNIZE and troubleshoot common factors that affect PAP adherence, residual daytime sleepiness and nasal congestion.

Today on MedNet21, we're going to discuss Obstructive Sleep Apnea.

Learners  should understand how to assess and diagnose patients with sleep apnea in a
primary care setting. Understanding who is at high risk based on symptoms,
physical exam findings, and associated conditions should guide choice of sleep
testing.This presentation will focus on what to address at follow up visits, factors
affecting positive airway pressure (PAP) adherence, and troubleshooting PAP.
