As a result of this educational activity, webcast participants will be able to:  LEARN about the typical
clinical course of multiple sclerosis and disease modifying treatments; and LEARN about our current understanding of the pathogenesis of MS.

Today on MedNet21, we're going to discuss Multiple Sclerosis.

This presentation provides an overview of the epidemiological, clinical and pathological characteristics of Multiple Sclerosis (MS).  The current use of disease modifying therapies to suppress MS relapses and new lesion formation, and the mechanisms of action of some of the most recently approved agents, will be discussed.  Recent data about the impact of COVID19 on people with MS will be reviewed.
