This continuing medical education activity will address new medication and technology that is being utilized in electrophysiology, heart failure and structural heart disease. Many times these disease states overlap which necessitates knowing what medication and devices are being used and how they will impact their patients health. The benefits and risks of new procedures for cardiovascular diseases will also be addressed including pre-procedural testing, how to determine patients for procedure, and post-procedure care. New pharmacological and device therapies for atrial fibrillation, heart failure and structural heart disease will be included.
