Description

This workshop has been organized to showcase the experience of the department of pathology at OSU with a full digital pathology workflow, both,  in house and from remote locations. Come witness and learn from our expert digital pathologists and staff as we are preparing to deploy computational pathology utilizing the aid of  Artificial Intelligence.

Objectives

  • Identify the components for a successful transition into a digital workflow. 
  • Illustrate the steps and skills needed to sign out a case using different combinations of integration between laboratory information systems (LIS) and image management systems (IMS).
  • Identify practical applications of artificial intelligence in pathology.
  • Illustrate the level of efficacy, efficiency and organization between digital and analog workflow.
  • Describe how a digital workflow is a pre-requisite to participate in the growing field of computational pathology.
