Description
This CME program will provide evidence-based updates for the management of hypertension and diabetes in pregnancy, labor management, and prenatal diagnosis based on recent data, clinical trials, and updated professional guidelines. We focus on clinical conditions that community-based obstetric providers frequently encounter and require expertise of high risk obstetrics/maternal fetal medicine.

Objectives
- Identify and implement effective strategies for preeclampsia prevention and manage hypertension in labor.
- Describe up-to-date screening guidelines and pharmacotherapy for gestational diabetes.
- Identify, prevent, and treat postpartum hemorrhage.
- Implement evidence-based strategies to optimize labor management.
- Diagnose and understand the antenatal management of fetal growth restriction and multiple gestations.
- Engage in effective team-based and interdisciplinary co-management of high-risk pregnant individuals with subspecialists and community-based providers
