Description
New pharmacology treatments and procedures are increasingly being done for therapies on the heart. These new treatment therapies are being utilized in cardio-oncology, electrophysiology, heart failure, interventional cardiology, preventive cardiology, and sometimes multiple therapies or clinical areas are partnering together in diagnosing and treating heart ailments.
Emphasis will be on understanding clinical history and findings indicative of cardiac syncope; cardiac conduction system and mechanisms of arrhythmias; antiarrhythmic drug selection in the management of atrial fibrillation; comparing and contrasting different types of permanent pacing; identifying criteria diagnosis for inherited arrhythmias; indications for anticoagulation and options available; indications and treatment options for left atrial appendage occlusion closure devices, septal defects, myocardial infractions and chemo prevention effects on the heart.
This course will provide physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals with innovative information regarding the most current management of heart disease and related disorders.
