Description

The Endocrine Update was created in 1999 with a singular mission: to educate clinical providers who take care of patients with endocrine disorders. The conference covers epidemiology, pathophysiology, diagnosis and treatment of common endocrines. There are approximately 9000 trained endocrinologists in the United States. This number is not sufficient to manage the growing epidemics of metabolic disorders based on population growth and the increased endocrine issues in the aging population. This results in a shortage of endocrinologists that is a national emergency and creates a barrier to patients receiving quality, cost effective, affordable care.
