Description
It is important for the healthcare provider to be able to identify and integrate current guidelines in diagnosing and treating cardiac sarcoidosis patients. Many of these patients have multiple co-morbidities and diagnoses. Creating education that emphasizes the utilization of current guidelines for diagnosing and treating patients will result in an improved level of care. Guidelines include the role of PET, MRI, and serum biomarkers in diagnosing cardiac sarcoidosis. These patients may require prolonged ambulatory rhythm monitoring, management of ventricular arrhythmia, and other surveillance for long-term complications.
