Description
The 2025 Annual Neurogastroenterology and Motility Conference brings together a multidisciplinary team of gastroenterologists, surgeons, dietitians, psychologists, and physical/occupational therapists for a one-day immersive learning experience focused on the diagnosis and management of gastrointestinal (GI) motility and functional disorders. Designed to close critical gaps in professional practice, this CME-certified activity offers both theoretical and hands-on training to boost provider competence, performance, and patient outcomes.

Objectives

3.Explain the role of dietary interventions, such as the Low FODMAP diet, in managing IBS and functional GI disorders.
4.Discuss the application of functional imaging techniques in the evaluation of GI motility disorders.
5.Recognize the importance of psychological and behavioral therapies in the treatment of functional GI disorders.
6.Demonstrate practical skills in esophageal and anorectal manometry, nutritional support, and biofeedback therapythrough hands-on sessions.
