Description
Delayed diagnosis contributes to irreversible vision loss and increased healthcare burden, and there is a need for improved competency in correlating imaging findings with clinical management. There needs to be greater interdisciplinary collaboration, timely referrals, and providers need strategies to improve outreach, screening, and follow-up in these communities.

Objectives
1. Apply current screening protocols and diagnostic criteria to improve early identification and management of glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and age-related macular degeneration.
2. Interpret and integrate findings from OCT, fundus autofluorescence, and wide-field angiography to enhance clinical decision-making and treatment planning.
3. Develop and implement strategies to improve access to eye care for underserved populations using culturally competent practices, community outreach, and teleophthalmology models.
