Objectives

At the conclusion of this continuing medical education activity participants should be able to:

1.  Recognize the benefits and challenges of cryoablation as a minimally invasive treatment option for cardiac arrhythmias;
2.  Describe how cardiac calcium scores are used to evaluate coronary artery calcification and guide clinical management;
3.  Discuss the principles of cardio-oncology and identify common cardiac issues seen in patients undergoing cancer treatment;
4.  Distinguish key postpartum cardiology concerns such as hypertension, cardiomyopathy, arrhythmias, and thromboembolic complications.;
5.  Review the indications, interpretation, and clinical significance of tilt table testing in patients with unexplained syncope or orthostatic symptoms;
6.  Identify strategies for evaluating and managing statin-associated muscle symptoms while supporting optimal lipid-lowering therapy adherence;
7.  Develop confidence in interpreting office-based ECGs to support timely cardiovascular assessment and patient care;
8.  Describe the newest treatment strategies in hypertrophic cardiomyopathy;
9.  Accurately identify testing modalities for specific vascular pathologies;
10 Define key elements to support successful smoking cessation.
