Dr. John Dewitt, Associate Professor in Physical Therapy, and Dr. Dan McFarlane, a Med-Peds Hospitalist at Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center and Nationwide Children’s Hospital, have developed this module on setting expectations using the model for Entrustable Professional Activities and Milestones to foster learner improvement, assess the stage of practice for your leaner and develop a template for communicating expectations to the learner and setting appropriate goals for advancement or remediation for each learner.
