Objectives

• Identify the challenges and complexities in the treatment of head and neck cancer patients • Describe the importance of pathology in the diagnosis of patients • Describe the role of adjuvant therapies (chemotherapy and radiation) in head and neck cancer patients • Explain the importance of a multidisciplinary team (MDT) in the treatment plan for head and neck cancer patients and how it affects outcomes
