Objectives


1. Describe best practices for diagnosing and treating common critical care diseases

2. Identify strategies to improve outcomes for critical care patients

3. Interpret emerging  research  and  clinically  relevant  information  regarding the care of critical care patients to discuss application of literature to direct patient care

4. Develop interdisciplinary relationships and describe the roles of each discipline in the care of critically ill patients

5. Illustrate improved team work and interdisciplinary communication and appreciation for the roles and contributions of colleagues across disciplines

6. Develop innovation in critical care through an interdisciplinary approach to patient care, leadership, research and education
