Understanding the Hip-Spine Relationship in Total Hip Arthroplasty

Objectives
1. Understand how lumbopelvic mobility patterns affect the ideal acetabular component orientation in total hip arthroplasty
2. Be aware of statistically validated lumbopelvic risk factors that increase risk of impingement and dislocation following total hip replacement
3. Understand the preoperative radiographic testing analysis tht can be used to identify risk factors and facilitate determination of the ideal, individualized cup position for a patient’s total hip replacement
