About the Speaker:

Dr. Kamel is the Helen and Albert Moon Professor and the Vice Chair for Research in the Department of Neurology at Weill Cornell Medicine. His research focuses on identifying new risk factors for stroke. He is helping to lead several multicenter randomized clinical trials and has published over 400 scientific papers, including in leading journals such as NEJM and JAMA.
