Description

Cancer screening is designed to detect cancer at an early stage, often before symptoms develop, when treatment is more likely to be effective. Early detection can reduce the risk of dying from certain cancers and may also identify precancerous conditions that can be treated to prevent cancer from developing.

Cancer Screening is the topic of this week's OSUMC East Hospital Grand Rounds. Harrison Jackson, MD and Sonya Wegman, MD, both Assistant Professors of Internal Medicine are the expert panelists in this MedNet 21 webcast moderated by Shengyi Mao, MD, Associate Professor of Internal Medicine. This presentation will be available as an in-person presentation in Wallace Auditorium, March 27 at 12:00 noon. Box lunches or lunch vouchers will be available to participants on a first-come basis.
