Description
This webcast will discuss Ovarian and Uterine Cancer. The first half of this presentation will focus on the epidemiology of ovarian cancer, including incidence rates, risk factors, and demographics. We will explore the histologic subtypes and staging of ovarian malignancies, followed by a review of common presenting signs and symptoms, and diagnostic strategies. Finally, initial management approaches will be discussed, providing a comprehensive understanding of how ovarian cancer is approached from suspicion to treatment planning.
The second half of this presentation will provide learners with an overview of endometrial cancer, the most prevalent form of uterine cancer. Key topics include the epidemiology and risk factors associated with the disease, clinical signs and symptoms, recommended diagnostic workup, and evidence-based treatment strategies. Special attention will be given to fertility-sparing options for those interested in maintaining reproductive potential during management.
