Description

Today on MedNet21, we’re going to talk about an Approach to Memory Loss. This is an enormous problem and one that is only going to grow as we face an aging population over the next couple of decades. Our presenters are going to give you the tools that you need to initiate the evaluation of patients with suspected memory loss so that you can establish early diagnoses and initiate early treatments.

As a result of this educational activity, webcast participants will be able to: DESCRIBE the update clinical criteria for Mild Cognitive Impairment and Dementia; RECOGNIZE the standard of care recommendations for the management of Alzheimer’s Disease; REVIEW definitions of Mild Cognitive Impairment and dementia; and CHOOSE cognitive assessment and screening instruments for Mild Cognitive Impairment and early dementia.
