Description
Today on MedNet21, we're going to discuss Vaccine-Preventable Diseases.
An overview of the effectiveness of vaccines in reducing disease transmission will be provided as
well as three resurgent vaccine-preventable diseases: measles, mumps, and hepatitis A. Strategies for addressing patient and family’s questions about vaccines will be discussed.

As a result of this educational activity, webcast participants will be able to: RECOGNIZE the clinical
presentation of measles, mumps, and hepatitis A infection; and UNDERSTAND how to interpret
testing results for measles, mumps, and hepatitis A virus.
