Description
Today on MedNet21, we're going to discuss Medical Therapy for Obesity.
Upon completion of this activity, learners will have a greater understanding of the mechanisms underlying obesity. Furthermore, they will improve their skills to screen for overweight and obesity, identify comorbid conditions, and counsel on appropriate therapy options.

Objectives
As a result of this educational activity, webcast participants will be able to:
- Gain a better understanding of the mechanisms underlying weight control and how to approach lifestyle changes to lead to weight loss.
- Understand which patients will qualify for medications or endoscopic therapies and the relative risk/benefit of each option.
