  • Which burns to refer
Description
Today on MedNet21, we're going to discuss Burn Care for Primary Care. The American Burn Association published on their website that there are, at least, over 486,000 burn injuries treated at hospitals annually, and they acknowledge many more burn injuries are successfully treated outside the hospital. The key to safe management is recognition of which burns might benefit from specialist referral.
