Description

Today on MedNet21, we're going to discuss Quality Initiatives In The Outpatient Setting.

This presentation will address the increasingly important topic of improving quality in the ambulatory practice environment.  As the national health care payment landscape continues to move toward
value based payment, the ability to improve care quality and patient experience while reducing costs will become a growing part of the work that ambulatory practices must engage in.  This talk will
provide an overview and examples of key concepts in Lean Six Sigma, a disciplined approach to operational improvement developed in manufacturing, but holding great potential for solving problems in modern health care delivery.
