Today on MedNet21, we're going to discuss Sexually Transmitted Diseases.

The first part of the presentation will review important information about the rising number of
syphilis cases in the United States as well as review diagnostic and treatment considerations for individuals with syphilis.

For the second half of  this webcast, you are going to find out how a collaboration between the emergency department physicians and the infectious disease physicians is improving the identification and treatment of patients with syphilis.
